The short version

Your personal affirmations, collections, favorites, appearance, and reminder schedule stay in this Chrome profile. Still does not upload your writing or read the websites you visit. The free library works offline without an account.

Optional Plus purchases and license checks contact Still’s service on Cloudflare. Checkout is handled by Creem. There are no advertisements or analytics added by Still.

What stays in your browser

Chrome’s local extension storage holds your personal writing and collection names, saved affirmation identifiers, reading positions, appearance, reminder settings, and the last reminder time used to prevent duplicates. If you activate Plus, it also holds a random browser activation identifier and a signed purchase receipt. The purchase key you enter is sent for verification and is not retained in extension storage.

Still does not provide cloud synchronization. The affirmation library, situational collections, icons, interface, and font are bundled with the extension.

Optional notifications

Still requests the notifications and alarms permissions when you enable or test reminders. You choose the times, days, quiet hours, and source of the words. Notifications can contain personal writing if you select that source. This text appears through your computer’s notification system and may be visible to someone looking at your screen.

Notifications are scheduled in the extension. The schedule and notification text are not sent to Still’s server. Chrome must be running, and your computer’s notification settings can affect delivery.

Purchases and license verification

When you choose checkout or activation, Still asks permission to contact its specific license service address. Checkout opens on Creem, where you provide payment and contact information. Still’s extension does not receive your card details.

The license service receives a purchase key during activation, a random browser activation identifier, and signed receipts during later checks. It stores a cryptographic hash of the key, payment order and license identifiers, the product identifier, purchase or refund status, and active browser identifiers. These records verify access and enforce the limit of three active browser profiles. The raw purchase key, personal affirmations, collections, and browsing activity are not stored by this service.

Creem’s signed payment events can include customer and transaction information. Still’s handler uses the order and license fields described above and does not persist the other event fields. Processed event identifiers are cleared by scheduled maintenance after 90 days. Temporary request counters use hashed address information to limit abuse and are deleted during maintenance. Cloudflare and Creem also process network and payment data under their own policies: Cloudflare privacy policy and Creem privacy policy.

A verified Plus receipt permits offline use for 30 days. License checks can run when you open Still Studio or when the extension has permission to schedule periodic checks. A full refund, dispute, or removed browser activation prevents renewal. Existing personal writing remains readable and exportable.

Backups and removal

You can download a JSON backup in Still Studio. It includes personal writing, collections, favorites, appearance choices, and reminder settings. It excludes license credentials and browser activation identifiers. Backup files stay wherever you save them. Import happens locally, merges with existing writing, and restores reminders in a paused state.

You can remove individual writing and collections in Studio. Removing a collection keeps its affirmations in All my words. Uninstalling Still removes its local extension storage, so save a backup first. Removing the extension does not delete a backup file or the minimum purchase records used by the payment service.

To request deletion of licensing or support records, contact the support address below. Some payment records may need to remain with the payment provider for its accounting and legal obligations.

What Still does not access

Still has no content scripts and does not read browsing history, page content, passwords, location, camera, or microphone. There is no personal writing synchronization, AI generation service, or marketing tracking.

This website and support

This site has no analytics or cookies added by Still. It is served by Cloudflare. A copy of the support and privacy pages may also be hosted on GitHub Pages, which logs visitors’ IP addresses for security under the GitHub privacy statement.

If you email sohaibk1001@gmail.com, the publisher receives the address and message you send. Email is processed by the mailbox provider to answer your request. You can ask for a support message to be deleted.

Earlier versions and changes

Version 1.0.0 contains only the local free library and preferences. It does not include purchases, network connections, personal writing, or reminders. This policy describes the additional behavior in version 1.1.0. Material changes will be reflected here and in the store disclosures.
